In 1962 I reported aboard the USS Preble and while waiting for clearance (to the Missile House) I stood watches on the bridge. I spotted a small craft in a heavy fog south of San Diego and rescued the producer and cameraman from the ?Ensign O?Toole? television show. I think it was CDR Sadler who took me to Hollywood for a celebration. I think Dean Jones is the guy shaking my hand.Contributed by Lee Powell. 51k
