Names with a silver background are those who also attended our first reunion at San Diego (1995) ... Sure is great to see this kind of support for our reunions.

BUSINESS MEETING

Our business meeting was short and to the point. The main order of business was to select a host and site for our 1999 reunion. We have held reunions in the West and in the East, now we need to select a site in Mid-America.

Although unable to attend the reunion in Charleston, out shipmate Mike Bohannon (Radioman - 1962/1963) sent notice that he volunteered to host the 1999 reunion in St. Louis, MO. There being no other nominations, St. Louis was approved unanimously.

At the suggestion of Walter Sawyer, it was resolved that, whenever possible, reunions should be scheduled to fall on a weekend rather that during the week.

TOURS

Reunion attendees enjoyed the tours arranged through Adventures in Charleston. Day One: Historic Charleston and Shopping; Day two: Patriots Point Maritime Museum and Fort Sumter.

We will endeavor to make similar arrangements in future reunion cities.
